Our Mission
The Office of Partnerships and Development prioritizes the complementary opportunities between Jacksonville University and industry partners in the marketplace for the benefit of our students and community workforce development. The Office will engage in strategies to build strong alliances, devote resources, and attention to our industry partners to catalyze positive outcomes in growth and innovation. The Office recognizes the significant value of its partners and will intensify the University efforts to support and sustain the accelerated progress of Jacksonville University and its community.

The Eric Sorensen Motor Speech Program (ESMSP) is a new initiative designed in partnership with leading subject-matter experts from University of Central Florida (UCF), Jacksonville University (JU) and the University of Florida (UF). The purpose of the program is to provide better access to services for adults living with a primary diagnosis of a motor speech disorder.

In a groundbreaking partnership, Jacksonville University and Lake Erie College of Medicine (LECOM), the nation's largest medical college and osteopathic academic health system, will establish Jacksonville's first four-year medical school - LECOM at Jacksonville University.

Jacksonville University's Upskill Institute has partnered with companies like Ed2Go, Coastal Cloud, and Skillstorm to offer a variety of continuing education courses and certifications to help improve the skills and careers of people in our area, as well as serving companies and partners of all varieties in advancing effectiveness and efficiency.

Design and construction of the Frisch Welcome Center was made possible by major supporters, including Preston and Joan Haskell, Chancellor Emerita Dr. Frances Bartlett Kinne, and, the building’s namesake, the Frisch family-owned-and-operated Beaver Street Fisheries.
